MeerConnect Annimated Logo

This is the original rough animation of the MeerConnect logo I designed and animated in 1997. I started with a simple arrow shape in Adobe Dimensions, then extruded and added skin. Dimensions has a nice feature which allows you to generate a series of images in a sequence of degrees. Using those images, I constructed the final series of images in Photoshop, then put them together in GifAnimator.


The final version here was used as the "active logo" in the custom browser I created (replacing the Microsoft spinning world). The image was also utilized on the cd case, brochures and magazine ads.
